Community Works is an erichment program that provides assistance to individuals with intellectual and development disabilities.
Our ServicesCommunity Works is an enrichment service program provided by Employment Solutions. The Program delivers one-on-one assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are recipients of the Michelle P or Supports for Community Living (SCL) Waivers.
Specialists work directly with program members to facilitate achievement of personal goals through Independence in the home and community. Services are person-centered and may include relationship building, accessing community activities, healthy living skills, budgeting, daily living activities, and more.

Community Living Support Specialists work directly with participants to achieve the goals in their plan of care. Activities and tasks are based on individual needs and can include routine household duties, daily living activities, relationship building, leisure choices, and more.
Community Access Specialists provide support and training to empower individuals through participation in meaningful routines, events and community activities. Examples include and memberships businesses, in which clubs, builds a natural system for participants and promotes integration in to the community.
These services are provided to individuals who need care on a short-term basis in absence of, or to offer relief to, their primary caretaker. Respite services can be provided in the individual’s home or the respite provider’s home.
Personal Assistance and Care Specialists provide hands-on support to help participants accomplish tasks for which they have barriers. These responsibilities may include observing, guiding and training related to activities of daily
living, such as personal hygiene, shopping and money management. Specialists can also assist in managing the participant’s medical care such as transportation, scheduling appointments and accompanying the participant tothose appointments.
With supported employment, participants will work with an employment specialist to find or maintain meaningful employment. We provide personalized employment opportunities for people with disabilities. The employment specialist will help discover hobbies, interests, and abilities. Once a participant completes their Vocational Rehabilitation process, we take over via waiver supports. We provide in person job coaching as well as long term follow up.
